Candice Clasby

Full Time Faculty

Candice M. Clasby is an Associate Professor, performer, choreographer, director, and producer. She previously served as a faculty member at Cypress Community College, choreographer at Chapman University and El Camino College in Torrance, and Assistant Production Manager for the Department of Music, Theatre and Dance at CSULA. She mentored with Center Theatre Group’s Associate Producer Lindsay Allbaugh and worked as Assistant Producer for the 2015 Ovation Awards at The Ahamanson Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles. She continues to work as a Producer in both Los Angeles and Orange Counties. She is also a member of the California Educational Theatre Association (CETA). When she’s not educating, producing, and directing, Candice can be seen on-stage. Most recent performance credits include Silence! The Musical at the Former Stages Theatre, OC. Celtic Knot written by Karen Fix Curry, produced by OC Playwrights Festival at Chapman University, RENT (Maureen), Hair (Tribe), and Sally Bowles in Cabaret. Directorial credits include Airline Highway by Lisa D’Amour, Almost, Maine by John Cariani, Bus Stop by William Inge, Randee Ellen Trabitz’s The Good, and Water Under the Bridge written by Slovenian Screenwriter/Playwright Martin Horvat and featured in the 2014 Hollywood Fringe Festival. Candice holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theater from California State University at Fullerton and a Master of Fine Arts in TV, Film, and Theatre Production and Directing from California State University at Los Angeles. She currently heads both the Acting for Camera, Directing, & Playwrighting programs at Fullerton College.
