About the event

Adapted by Robert H. Livingston and Herb Schapiro Music by Gary William Friedman Lyrics by Will Holt Based on the book `The Me Nobody Knows` edited by Stephen M. Joseph an Original idea by Herb Schapiro Additional Lyrics by Herb Schapiro Arrangements and Orchestrations by Gary William Friedman Directed by Gary Krinke This special production is presented by the Offices Diversity and Recruitment as a outtreach to high schools in the area. High school students, along with Fullerton College theatre and music students will be cast in this production. This musical was inspired by the anthologized writing of nearly 200 New York City students aged 7 through 18. They write honestly about their feelings (loneliness, mostly) and their neighborhoods (ridden with dirt and violence), and find themes of hope and renewal. Tickets are available through the Fine Arts Box Office beginning January 16, 2007. There is no charge for addmission, but a ticket is required.
