A relevant allegory to our global political scene today, William Shakepeare's tale, set against the backdrop of Ancient Rome, is a timeless classic of political intrigue, betrayal and murder.
A theatrical work of a highly emotional content, typically involving the representation of a situation wherein conflict exists and is resolved through the interaction of the characters. Put more simply, it refers to a group of actors playing out a situation of a serious rather than a comic or tragic nature.
Each year the Theatre Arts Department presents a work of classical or contemporary significance with a desire to support the theatre educational experiences of students in college and local high schools. Special matinee performances are offered to area high schools.
Built in the early 20's, this Theatre has 430 seats and is only 19 rows deep.
