Children's Play Opens Tonight; Dramatists In Final Performance

Last of the children's plays of the season will be presented by FJC's drama department in the Little Theater, Friday, May 1 and 8 with showings at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday's showings will be 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. May 2 and 9. Presentations on Sundays will be at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on May 3 and 10.

The play, "The Enchanted Tower," was written by Robert W. Thompson, a Buena Park instructor who will teach here next year. The play is based on the fairy tale, "Sleeping Beauty."

Cast for the presentation includes, Dan .Adams, Stanley Smith, Mary Knaus, Robert Schildmeyer, Stephanie Alexander, Marlene Schoner, Janice Renshaw, Kathy Silvia, Linda Borne, Jerry Sy, Gail Mitchell, Randy Ellsworth, Rosalie Abrams and Kathy Sellers.

George L. Stoughton, drama instructor, explained that the play will appeal to those between the age groups of pre-school children to 14-year-olds.
