FC puts on sold-out show

Fullerton College Hornet  - Kellie Knezovich - Wednesday, March 21st, 2012
The end of Sally Bowles: Brenda Castillo, who played Sally Bowles, strikes a pose. Like the other performances, audiences requested an encore.

After months of rehearsing, and performing all the shows, Cabaret has come to an end.

The cast put on their final performance to the high school students at the theatre festival this past weekend.

The tickets for this last show were selling left and right after their four days of performing for the public brought them good reviews. "Every musical we put on at Fullerton College always sells out," Director of multiple Fullerton theater shows, Gary Krinke said. Krinke can't be more pleased with the way the musical turned out.

Although the cast only performed to the public on four nights, this show went down in FC history as one of the best.

Many cast members are sad the show is over but all continue to pursue their career in acting.

As far as the future goes, the cast will either continue performing at Fullerton College or will enter the world of acting outside of FC.

Some cast members auditioned earlier this semester for the show following "Cabaret".

"Women of Lockerbie" is that show and it is the next show that will debut at Fullerton.

Rehearsals and major planning have already begun for this show.

"Women of Lockerbie" is set to perform in the theater in early May.
