QUILTING TIME-Kicking up their heals in Fullerton College Theatre Department's production of "Quilters" are from left Christine McDonald Bernadette Mendoza, and Camie Eggert.

The enchanting· blue grass musical of American frontier women, Quilters, by Damashck and Newman opened Nov. 6 in the Fullerton College Studio Theatre.

The musical deals with seven women: one mother· played by Laverne Francis and her six daughters (Bemadette Mendoza, Christine McDonald, Lisa Donvito, Camie Eggert, Connie Van Billiard and Mika Christy) who crossed the. plains In the 'early 19th century.

The cast of seven portrays some 150 roles, combining dance, music and scene of dramatic intensity.

Quilters runs the Nov. 6 and 7 and will also be performed 12 through 14. Curtain time 8 p.m. The Nov. l5 matinee begins at 2 pm.

Tickets are $6 general admission and $5 for students and senior citizens. Tickets can be purchased at the Theatre Box Office from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. or by phone at 871-8101.
