Neil Simon Play 'Barefoot Park' To Be Featured

Barefoot in the Park" is now underway. The cast has been picked and has been working on the play for three weeks.

Arlene Cashen, a graduate of Marywood High School, plays Corie Brather. Arlene has been in other plays here at Fullerton such as "After the Rain" and "The Brick and The Rose." She is also Woman's World" headliner of FJ Radio Station, KBPK.

Paul Bratter is played by David Wilson, a graduate of Van Nuys High School. Dave spent three years in the U.S. Navy as a radar specialist. He has played comic roles in "The Merry Wives of Arte."

Corie's mother, Mrs. Banks, is portrayed by Beverly Hudelson, a graduate of Western High School. In addition to acting in "The Night Thoreau Sepnt in Jail," "Dark of the Moon," and "The Brick and The Rose," Beverly worked on the costumes for "Little Murders" and "The Merry Wives of Windsor."

Victor Velasco is played by Tom Grubbs, a graduate of Middletown High School in Ohio. He spent three years in the U.S. Army, one in Vietnam near the DMZ.

Richard Hall, a graduate of Tustin High School, plays the telephone repairman. The deliveryman is played by Edward Prouty, a graduate of Troy High School.

George L. Stoughton, director of the play, has been at FJC since 1961 as an instructor in the Theatre Arts department. He has wide experience in the theater and came to the college well-equipped to teach in academic and technical areas of theatre.
