Hotel Paradiso

Fullerton College Hornet  - Tommy Van Deusen - Wednesday, April 25th, 2007

A "madcap French bedroom frolic" begins its run at the .Bronwyn Dodson Theatre April 26.

FC's Theatre Arts Department is bringing George Feydeau and Maurice Desvallieres play about would-be and could-be adulterers as well as comedic farce to the stage.

Benedict Boniface (Stephen Womack) and his wife, Angelique (Elizabeth Blanchard) receive a surprise visit from Monsieur Martin (Ryan Knight).

Martin not only shows up unnanounced, but with his four daughters as well. They plan on staying with the Bonifaces for a month, but are refused accomodations. Martin and his children are left to stay at the "Hotel Paradiso."

The Hotel is run by a manager (John Montano) who tries to get a peek at his female guests and a maid (Carla Melinna) who's interested in her next conquest.

Mixed signals, mixed messages and all around bad communication makes for good fun for six nights at FC.
