Even though Nazi thugs were terrorizing German citizens, Hitler was still not taken too seriously, the Kit Kat Club was roaring and the people who frequented the club were having the time of their lives.
Although the 'Kit Kat Club was where people went to forget their worries, the people that were portrayed all had troubles. and we got to delve into them for a short while.
The Club had dancing, drinking, sex, money, love, friendship, while all around the was hate.
Ryan Baldwin, who shone as Emcee was absolutely magnificent. He stole every scene that he was in, even when he was lurking around up in the rafters.
Balwin's presence was always felt by his character as he eerily walked into a scene where you did not expect him. The stage belonged to the evenings Emcee.
Baldwin, had the task of singing, dancing; and utilizing his amazing facial skills to thrill the audiences, and he did just that. His talent was met equally by that of his co-star Virgina Wilcox.
Virginia Wilcox, who played Sally Bowles, was incredible. Her voice filled the theatre as it sent goose bumps down the necks of all that heard her; She was right on the money and a very talented actress. Wilcox has Broadway written all over her.
The whole cast of "Cabaret" was magnificent and didn't miss a.beat. The sensuality and passion of these actors, came across in every note they sang, every line they spoke and in every dance move they made across stage.
