Cory Reeder, Chris Mendez, Aaron Campbell, Stuart MacArthur and Joey Gambetta star In the male version of "The Odd Couple."

The Odd Couple is an uproarious domestic disaster when two completely opposite divorced men try t live under the same roof.

Th¢ two friends are Oscar and Felix (Joey Gambetta arid Steven Cesnek). Oscar is a divorced sports writer and a major slob. His wife took their children and fled the coop to get away from the clutter.

Oscar left old banana peels and stale chips on the coffee table. He also tries to win money in poker games to pay his wife alimony.

He dresses like a slob in a dirty shirt, hat, semi baggy jeans and of course, we can't forget the. 80's style with the headphones around the neck.

Felix on the other hand is a hypochondriac and compulsive neat freak. His wife just left him because of his obsessive tidiness. Even his buddies yell that he is driving everyone mad by picking up the crumbs from the floor, vacuuming, and putting a coaster under each drink. Felix dresses in a suit, tie, and slacks.

Oscar lived alone. Once a week his pals Speed (Chris Mendez), Murray (Aaron Campbell), Roy (Stuart MacArthur), Vinnie (Cory Reeder), and Felix (Cesnek) would come over and play poker, eat old sandwiches and drink hot beer because the refrigerator was broken.

When Oscar made a mess it would stay there for days. He cleaned up beer with an old piece of bread.

A disturbing phone call during a poker game gets the gang worried about their pal Felix. His wife just called and said they were getting a divorce and he was suicidal.

In order for Felix hot to kill himself, Oscar offers to share his eight-bedroom apartment with Felix, not knowing that these two very different people will clash.

The clothes the guys were are clashy and funny including tight shirts, afro-like hair, and high water pants with orange tennis shoes.

Felix still questions his ability to love another women: and Oscar is only interested in getting some The giggly Pigeon sisters,

Gwen and Cecily, (Emily June Miller, and Michelle Suzette Jacques) come over to have a nice dinner with the men, only to find Felix is miserable due to his recent divorce. The three end up in a cry fest when all Oscar wanted was dinner.

This is a hilarious comedy about two divorced men who are obviously riot suited to live with each other.

The cast is excellent. Gambetta kept the audience laughing with his New York accent and slobish ways.

Cesnek was just a doll, cleaning up after everything Oscar did.

The poker buddies were funny too, brushing the 80's style long hair, outrageous clothing, and drinking.

FC's theatre department has out done them selves this year with some pretty good performances. Some old fashioned (Taming of the shrew), some sad (Laramie Project), some with lots of music (Tommy), some with lots of sex appeal (Cabaret), and some with hilarious comedy, The Odd couple.
